Dante can also use Devil mode to draw enemies and objects toward Dante. Dante can use Angel mode to pull himself towards enemies or points on each level. These modes can also affect Dante’s mobility. Dante uses a fast scythe-type weapon, while Devil mode uses the slower but more powerful Arbiter axe. Dante’s sword attacks will change to the Osiris when he is in Angel mode. Dante can now activate modifiers to his moveset by pressing one of the trigger buttons. Like previous games in this series, Dante can do combos with his sword, Rebellion, and his twin pistols, Ebony or Ivory. Players will play the role of Dante and use his weapons and powers to defeat enemies and navigate the dangerous Limbo.
